Project: Product upgrade, Percussion WCM version 5.7 to 6.5 with additional content type creation

Challenge: Devising a low impact migration strategy with maximum availability

Solution: The product upgrade for NHM featured dual considerations - Implementation of the existing functionality within the upgraded product, and the development of new streamlined content types and templates.

A carefully structured project plan was developed, with key work streams were defined and critical points and tasks identified. After approval, our development team began the cycle of development and testing to migrate the existing functionality and create the new features.

We also developed and delivered a training programme to introduce existing users to the new features and train the migration team who would be responsible for recreating the existing content within the new functionality.
